Sarah Palin-Endorsed Alaska Senate Candidate Trailing Lisa Murkowski By Wide Margin

8
vote

Just how much is a Sarah Palin endorsement worth in Alaska? At least as far as the state’s U.S. Senate GOP primary is concerned, not very much it seems. Incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowki is leading challenger Joe Miller 62 percent to 30 percent, according to a Ivan Moore Research poll. (More than half of the Alaskans polled said that they had no impression of Miller.) Miller not only has Palin’s backing but also the support of the Tea Party Express heading into the Aug. 28 primary.

Strategic projects 30 years in the making - proposed routes for the Alaska and MacKenzie natural gas pipelines to western Canada and the lower 48 U.S. states
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) – Sarah Palin hit the vice presidential campaign trail last year and touted what Alaska could provide for the rest of America — a natural gas pipeline to help lead the country to energy independence.

Johnston says Palin neglected parenting and governorship duties in favor of money
Sarah Palin, holding son Trig, greets Levi Johnston
He almost became a member of the Palin family, but Levi Johnston — who fathered former Gov. Sarah Palin’s grandchild with her daughter Bristol — isn’t holding back when it comes to spilling the Alaska clan’s secrets.

Shannyn Moore: Palin Pimps Steele; "Snows" Obama

When SarahPAC sends out “Governor’s Statements”, I cringe. Sarah Palin is as predictable as Alaska weather; random, erratic, and dangerous. Her full run embrace of RNC Chairman Michael Steele must be in response to his statement, “We have turned the page. We have turned the corner. No more looking in the review mirror.” Palin translation? “Enough about Reagan, what about ME?!” Alaskans know if you lick steel in the cold, your tongue sticks. As Governor, Sarah Palin has passed the largest budgets in state history.

Shannyn Moore: ELISABETH…THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN…Ashley Judd is spot on.

Ashley Judd is right. Sarah Palin is wrong. Elisabeth Hasselbeck is clueless and should have a nice big cup of STFU. How do I know? I have been fighting the Alaskan Government Policy of Aerial Wolf Hunting for much of my life. The wolves of Alaska don’t know they are Alaskan…or American. Wherever you are, these wolves are part of your world. They represent the best part of the Last Frontier; its wildness, its mystery and its promise of adventure. In short, they represent hope.

Palin Troopergate Testimony: Hometown Paper Questions Secrecy

Last week, the Anchorage Daily News reported that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin would not release her testimony from the Troopergate investigation. Now, in an editorial, the paper wonders why : Much as Gov. Sarah Palin might wish otherwise, she has not given Alaskans a complete, transparent accounting of her actions in Troopergate. … To put it bluntly, either Gov. Palin or fired public safety commissioner Walt Monegan is lying about key facts. Investigator Tim Petumenos shrugged off the contradictory accounts.

Shannyn Moore: Keith Olbermann BROKE UP WITH ME!

Like it’s not bad enough. I’ve been hearing loons talk about secession up here my whole life. In Alaska, the three top ballot seats: President, Senate and House of Representatives, have candidates on the ballot from the secessionist Alaska Independent Party. In two of the three, the AIP holds at least 4% of the vote. The felonious Ted Stevens looks like he has convinced over a hundred thousand Alaskans what he couldn’t convince 12 jurors of a few weeks ago. Now, Keith Olbermann has the temerity to ask if it’s too late to sell Alaska back to the Russians.
