Sarah Palin is not qualified to be the American vice-president, let alone president, and her selection stems from the reckless leadership style of Republican presidential candidate John McCain, says a former U.S. national-security adviser.
"I do not see how in any fashion it is possible to argue that McCain took the long-term interests of the United States at heart in his [vice-presidential] choice," said Zbigniew Brzezinski, the national security advisor to former president Jimmy Carter, in a Vancouver interview Monday.
"He chose someone who is literally unequipped to be vice-president, not to mention being president."
